Tea bag - A small, porous paper, silk, or nylon sealed bag or sack containing tea leaves for brewing to keep it from escaping into the liquid which one wants to drink. This sacred object is the center of numerous mystical and religious rituals and is revered in several cultures (most notably England and India). Tea bags come in all shapes and sizes but generally the sacks fit, without problem, into the object they are being placed into, sometimes repeatedly.

Cowbell - No one is absolutely certain of the origin of this sacred device. Myth would lead us to believe that it comes from a time when cows were in fact deadly, predatory creatures that preyed on human flesh. It was decided by a group of elders that a way to alert humans who were being stalked by the clever bovine killers was needed and thus the cowbell was created. The elders held competitions across all the clans until they formed highly trained teams of hunters and trappers who were given the holy task of sneaking up on the insatiable beasts and attaching the bells to them. Those that lost their lives in the holy cause are remembered as heroes of humanity due to the innumerable lives saved.

Once man was able to kill off the flesh-eating bovine species through domestication the cowbell became a redundant device of a time long past. Until a rock band by the name of Blue Öyster Cult found a musical use in their "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" in 1976. The cowbell once again regained it elevated position as an object of great power.

KVSC has announced the theme for 2009!

KVSC's staff has the pleasure of announcing the theme to those yearning for 50 hours of trivia all year long. KVSC's XXX Trivia: 30 Years of Trivia Lovin' will take place February 13-15, 2009. The trivia writers will dote on some of the most intense loves in history, from Adam and Eve to Posh and Becks. It's time for all trivia lovers to shack up in teams and seduce all of the information they hold dear. We're hopelessly devoted to XXX Trivia.
